2025 Agency League results released

By March 11, 2026CMA News

SLG Agency has taken the top spot in the latest CMA Agency League following the 2025 CMA Awards, ending Ridgemount’s five-year run at the top of the table. Ridgemount move into second place, while The Think Tank complete the podium in third.

SLG’s rise is underpinned by another strong performance at the 2025 Awards. The agency secured wins for Sika in Strategic Planning & Management and Quelfire in Best Use of AI, as well as a Highly Commended for its work with Inovara in Best Internal Comms Campaign. Milica Trifkovic of SLG Agency also picked up Emerging Talent of the Year – Agency.

Ridgemount also featured among the winners on the night, taking Team of the Year for the Ridgemount Digital Team.

Elsewhere among the agency honours, Cartwright were named Agency of the Year, while BCM Agency took Small Agency of the Year, both agencies appearing in the CMA Agency League top 20 for the first time this year.

Lesniak Swann continue their steady rise up the table and now sit in fourth place. Three years ago they were 18th in the league, and a series of strong performances at the Awards has seen them climb steadily since. Their momentum was reinforced this year with two wins for Promat in Best Mid Range Budget Campaign and Best Go To Market Campaign, as well as a Highly Commended for Polypipe Building Services in Best Integrated Campaign.

Fabrick round out the top five.

There is movement across the rest of the table. WAA Chosen move up to seventh place, while Ginger Digital and Cyon Agency both break into the top ten.

Further down the rankings, Ripple’s win in the Low Budget Campaign category sees them enter the top 20 for the first time. BCM Agency and Cartwright also make their debut appearances in the table.

The CMA Agency League tracks agency performance across a rolling four-year period of the CMA Awards, awarding five points for a win, three for a highly commended entry and one for a shortlist.

First launched in 2012, the league has since tracked the results of 166 agencies that have achieved at least one shortlisted entry in the CMA Awards since 2009.

While it provides a numerical evaluation of performance in the Awards, and therefore a useful gauge of capability and quality, it should not be taken on its own as a recommendation. While some organisations use it as a tool to populate a pitch list, clients should always do their homework carefully before appointing an agency.
