The thrill of finding you have won at the Construction Marketing Awards cannot be beaten, it is a real accolade marking your organisation as top marketers in the construction industry. But that is not the only reason to be at the Construction Marketing Awards gala dinner….
It’s a team celebration, a chance to party!
Bringing your team to the gala dinner is an opportunity to recognise their hard work for the year, whether you are up for an award or not. It is a chance to have a good time, a chance to say thank you to your team and, with the Gala Dinner being close to end of the year, you can make it your departments Christmas party!
“The Gala Dinner is a great opportunity for our team and our clients to take a step back from the day to day work and go ‘actually that was a really good campaign’ to take the opportunity to take the time and reflect, to appreciate that we did something that worked well.”
Anna Hern, Ridgemount PR
This year the awards are being held at a prestigious new venue. The Hilton, London Bankside hotel is a ‘design-led’ hotel only a stone’s throw from the Tate Modern, the Shard and Borough Market. A sumptuous dinner will be served in the stunning 570m² ballroom, which guest access via a sweeping staircase, following the welcome fizz being served on the mezzanine level, overlooking the ballroom.
The awards are also being hosted by comedian Andrew Ryan. Andrew’s storytelling abilities and cheeky, friendly demeanour make him a natural observational stand-up and one of the most in-demand acts on the UK comedy circuit.
The awards are a great night out for all!
“The CMAs was a good night all round for Kingspan as a whole, with colleagues from Kingspan Insulated Panels and Kingspan Timber Solutions also winning awards. It was great to see everybody’s achievements well-recognised!”
Lauren Miller, Kingspan Insulation Limited, Young Marketer of the Year at the 2017 Construction Marketing Awards
A great networking opportunity, a chance to rub shoulders with other construction marketers
As well as being a fun night out the awards also bring together all the movers and shakers in the construction marketing world. The awards are your chance to meet with peers and colleagues. Very often these will be organisations you know of, but perhaps have never met. Now you can, networking with a glass of something in your hand, what better way to get to know the industry?
“I like the community. I like the way that we are rivals but friends. I like the fact that once a year we get together and have the opportunity to laugh and have fun! It is the feeling of togetherness that I really like about the CMAs”
Jules Quested-Williams, Built for Marketing
Following the awards presentation guests will have the opportunity to shake their stuff on the dance floor. But for those who would prefer to relax then we are proud to provide The Blue Lounge, sponsored by MRA Marketing. This is a new addition to the gala dinner, it is a low-key bar area, providing the opportunity to drink, relax and socialise with other dinner guests.
And as well as meet other marketers it is also a chance to meet the communication agencies that are making a real difference in the construction sector. Much of the work submitted is completed in partnership with these agencies. Winning a trophy in an agency category is often highly sought after. And every year we use the results of the awards to update the Construction Agency League Table.
“As an entrant, we have benefitted from our participation, having won awards at every level. There are the big one’s such as Agency of the Year, or PR Agency of the Year, but probably the most cherished are those that mark major milestones at the time of winning. So, for example, winning best use of social media when it was an emerging marketing tool helped position us; similarly winning best use of digital helped kick-start that particular stream of our business offer. This all adds power to the agency league table, as we know that many potential clients use this as a reference tool when compiling their pitch lists. And of course, you can never forget the evening event itself and using it to invite clients to reinforce why your agency is considered highly amongst its peers”
Gavin Tadman, Managing Director, CIB
A chance to celebrate great marketing and an opportunity to be inspired.
The Gala Dinner is a chance to appreciate the innovative marketing being delivered by the peers in your sector. A chance to celebrate great marketing and an opportunity to be inspired.
“The CMA awards night is always special because it’s a chance for the construction marketing community to get together. Of course it’s a great place to network with lots of people in our industry –while eating, drinking and having fun! But more importantly it’s amazing to see all the great work that has been produced throughout the year. For that reason alone, the CMAs is one annual gathering that shouldn’t be missed.”
Lucia Di Stazio, Managing Director, MRA Marketing
We hope you can join us at what is THE marketing party of the year for construction marketers!
“It’s a great buzz and a chance to celebrate the great work of PR and marketing professionals in the construction industry. You can’t beat it!”
Sophie Eastwood, Holistic
There is so much to be excited about for the 2018 Construction Marketing Awards! Not forgetting of course, the all-important award presentation. Most of all the CMAs are a party, to celebrate being a CMA finalist, or even a winner. But also a chance to mark another year in our industry almost over.
So why not book a table, or just a few places, and give your team a chance to relax, celebrate and meet their peers.
